The first day in the lab! Work included opening up lab supplies and getting a bearing on our workspace. A brief interest form was sent out to some people from classes, and the list of people asked will most likely grow in the coming days. We can't start testing until we get participants, so that is our current priority.
While Mr Rasmus wasn't there today, work continued on. Our pre-workout was tested out, as well as another group's hot sauce. While we are still waiting on ours to arrive, we are optimistic with the taste and effect of other hot sauces.
Hunter has strep throat! He wasn't feeling the best, so no work got done.
Hunter was feeling better, but still not 100%. Thien was able to be online today, so some discussions were made about the project. Only 5 people have said yes to being interested in working on the project, so the priority still remains getting participants.
We finally have 6 willing participants!!! Once we hit 7 preliminary testing can begin. Today's work was mostly in anticipation of getting our 7th person. This meant handing out permission slips and emailing even more people in the hopes that someone will say yes. Morale is high, and optimism about testing is even higher. The only things preventing us from moving forward now is waiting for our hot sauces to come and enough people to say yes to participating.
