About: Champions of Change is a youth-lead organization that focuses on creating dialogue about women’s issues and empowering women in the London-area. Champions of Change started in 2018 at AB Lucas SS, but our members are from many London-area high schools. We host many fundraisers, campaigns, and initiatives centered around supporting women in our community, awareness about gender equality, and inspiring individuals to create change in their communities.

Future:
Community Networking: We are always looking for local groups to collaborate with on initiatives. We are open to working with groups that share our commitment towards innovation, equality, and community support.
Event Promotions: We would love to work with other groups to plan, promote, and host events.
What we can provide: We are made up of a diverse group of high school aged individuals, and we would love to collaborate on projects that require the help of students. We can help promote, plan and develop projects in collaboration with you that will also involve students
MADE TO LEAD
Made to lead is a series of virtual workshops run by Champions of Change for elementary aged youth.
Made to Lead focuses on opening the mindsets of youth to the endless career opportunities available to them, regardless of gender stereotypes, empowering them to achieve their goals, and to encourage others along the way.
There are five workshop topics available: Career opportunities, leadership, finding your inner champion, inequality and gender stereotypes, and how to influence change in your life.
