Andrew Virtue holds a bachelor’s degree in music education, a master’s in music performance, and a bachelor’s of education from the University of Western Ontario. A passionate music educator, he inspires students to engage with the academic, introspective, and collaborative lessons taught through music. His ensembles have received numerous awards at both local and provincial festivals, including 1st place at the provincial level.
Outside his role at A.B. Lucas, Andrew is a brass band enthusiast and performs as Principal Cornet and Deputy Bandmaster of the London Citadel Band of The Salvation Army. He has been featured as a soloist with several elite brass ensembles and has performed with world-renowned musicians such as Mark Ridenour (Chicago Symphony), Patrick Sheridan (tuba soloist), and Jens Lindemann (Canadian Brass).

Diana Murawski is excited to join the A.B. Lucas S.S. Music Department for the first time in the 2020-2021 school year. She is passionate about teaching music to adolescents and comes with experience teaching in a variety of musical disciplines, such as: Band, Choir, Guitar, Music Technology, Developmental Music, and ESL Vocal.
Diana graduated from Western University with her Honours Specialist in Music Education and from York University with her Bachelor in Education degree.
