There are several ways to get involved with the Music Department at A.B. Lucas Secondary School! Students are encouraged to enroll in Grade 9 Instrumental Music (AMI 1O1) along with Grade 9 Repertoire (AMR 1O5) to help enhance their musical skills. The Grade 9 Concert Band performs at several events throughout the year, including the Music Concerts, Grade 8 Night, and the Kiwanis Music Festival of London.

Other ensembles for Grade 9 Music Vikes include Grade 9 Choir and Grade 9 Jazz Band. Students walk away from these experiences having felt a great sense of community and belonging, as well as huge musical gains throughout the year.
