The Academy for Student Athlete Development (ASAD) is a program designed to support high school aged student-athletes participating in high performance sports as they strive for success at regional, provincial, national, and international levels of competition.

Aviation

Aviation School is a collaborative and experiential program designed to prepare students for aviation workplace, apprenticeships, college-level training or university-level programs and meets Ontario curriculum expectations. Please visit our site for an updated pathway plan.

Bealart

Bealart is Southwestern Ontario's oldest Visual Art institution. For over 110 years Bealart has helped students, adults, artists, and makers of all types reach their goals. The alumni of Bealart have made significant contributions to the art scene Canada and around the world. The founder of Bealart, Mackie Cryderman, believed that visual art training is about exploring, developing strategies, and adapting, which are essential qualities for all of life's endeavors.

Bealart is for everyone, and skills learned here will benefit students looking to enter various fields, including the sciences, creative industries, engineering, and fine arts.

H3-ELP

We are excited to offer a new multi-credit opportunity for students currently in Grade 9 who are interested in learning and leading outdoors through an environmental lens. This program will run in their Grade 10 year.

We will be taking a Head, Heart and Hands approach to develop the Environmental Leaders' Project.

W.I.L.D.

The Wilderness-Based Interdisciplinary Leadership Development (WILD) Program is a student led outdoor and experiential learning opportunity.

The course centres around student planning and implementation of a seven-day canoe trip in a Wilderness region of Ontario. This unique learning opportunity will allow students to explore and develop an intimate connection to a wilderness location.

Secondary students from across TVDSB are invited to apply to participate in a blend of in-person and online learning beyond their regular school schedule. During the summer, students will apply the course theories of leadership and planning in an authentic and experiential manner in the field.
