Course Selection

MyBlueprint will be open for Course Registration for all IDCI students on Tuesday, February 4, 2025.

Students in grade 9-11 will have the opportunity to choose their courses during classroom visits with the support of guidance & the student success team on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Grade 12s will receive important information regarding graduation and 5th year options during their presentation on either Thurs

The deadline for Course Registration is Tuesday, February 11, 2025.

Please note, for new registrations, students will be required to contact the office to register and request courses through the Guidance department.

TVDSB students can register at IDCI by following the steps below.  Out-of-Board and Out-of-Area students can find forms to submit at the bottom of this page.

Step One: Read the instructional Guide Sheet below that matches the grade you will be registering for.  It provides important information about how to register.  Please note, these are the guides for the 2024-25 school year.  The guides for 2025-26 school year will be posted soon.

Step Two:  View the presentation below that matches the grade you will be registering for. Please note, these are the presentations for the 2024-25 school year.  The guides for 2025-26 school year will be posted soon.

Step Three:  View the TVDSB Course Selection Guide Wrap below.  It provides general information about all TVDSB high school pathways and programs.

Step Four: View the IDCI Course Selection Guide sections below.  They list all courses available to choose at IDCI for next year by department.  

Step Five: Select your courses in MyBlueprint using the link below.  Login is your TVDSB email address (lastfirs###@gotvdsb.ca) and use your school password.  See the Guide Sheet in Step One for instructions on how to choose courses in MyBlueprint.

Step Six:  If you have chosen Coop, SHSM, or Leadership courses, an application form is required and admission to the course/program is not guaranteed.  Use the forms below to apply.  Application forms are due:  Friday, February 21, 2025.

Step Seven: A parent/guardian must approve course selections for students under 18.  This can be done electronically by inputting a parent/guardian email in MyBlueprint after you submit course choices.

Once your course choices are submitted in MyBlueprint, you must contact your Guidance Counsellor to make changes.  Choose your courses with care.  Changes are not always possible once the master timetable has been created.

Out of Board Registration:  Students coming from a school board outside of TVDSB can find registration procedures and forms below.  Out of Board registrations must be submitted by Friday, February 9, 2024 at 12:00pm.

Out of Area Registrations:  Students who do not live within the designated boundaries for IDCI must submit an Out of Area form by Thursday, February 1, 2024, at 12:00 pm.
