You don't need to play an instrument to be in choir - all you need is your voice!
Choir is an extra-curricular club that runs in the music room (room 165) on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 11:10 until the end of the lunch hour. Some students continue to sing as they walk out the door, heading to class!
You don't need any previous singing experience to join - Mrs. Lam and the senior members of choir will be happy to help you find the range that works best for you.
Are you a high-ranged soprano, a middle-ranged alto, a tenor, or a low-ranged bass? If you don't know, we'll help you figure it out! It's also easy to switch sections if you feel another range is better for you. Choir will also teach you how to sing from sheet music. Our community is always happy to help.
Many people love to sing, but don't feel comfortable with performance. The wonderful thing about choir is that you aren't performing alone!
Maybe you like to sing solos? If you ask, you might get the chance! Choir songs often give the chance for singers to show off their voice.
