You will write 3 simple lab reports each worth 40 points. Please follow this simple rubric to write your lab report. During some labs we will be generating data while during others we will be noting observations. Lab reports should be turned in as Google Docs via the usual portal. Make sure each section is represented....
Goals of the Lab (15%):
This is where you write, in your own words, what the overall purpose of the lab is. What are you trying to measure or observe? What concepts are you trying to master?

This is where you mention any alterations you needed to make to the methods. If you don't make any alterations just state "Methods were as written in the lab manual.". You should also mention any notes about field conditions (it rained hard the night before, cold, windy, etc.
Data (50%):
This is where you place your data. It should be in a clean format that is easy to read. All of your data should be recorded here. Sometimes your data will be numbers and other times it may be drawings and observations....still other times it may be both!
