Enrichment: process of enhancing animal environments within the context of the animal's behavioral biology and natural history. The goal is increasing the animal's behavioral choices.
Types of Enrichment:
Sensory: encourages the animal to use its sense
Manipulation/toys: an object the animal has to use in a novel way
Diet: novel foods or novel way of receiving food
Interaction: some animals are very social and enjoy interaction (be patient)
Environmental: changes in the environment to encourage exploration
