The First Depot - As you stand on Mechanic Street behind Hannafords, try to imagine hearing the echo of a train whistle as the first train chugs away to Portland in 1851. In later years the depot would be used as a blacksmith shop.
The second Depot - Trains passed on one side of the depot under a wooden bridge on South Street. On the other side of the depot stood Hanson Livery Stable.
