This site explains the vast benefits of memorizing poetry and houses some poems to choose from. Consider assigning one of these poems or a classic poem for your gifted or highly-capable students to memorize, record, and share with you and others. As with anything, please preview the poems carefully for age-appropriate content.
Book Review Writing: Does your student love to read? At some point they may want to share a book they love with others. They may already do this by talking about their books with family or friends. If you want your student to share their ideas, the way to do that is by writing a review. By publishing the reviews they write, they can share ideas about their books with other readers around the world.
