Graphic Design at VHS

I began my career as a graphic artist, working fifteen years in the private sector designing for print media, as well as the web. After ten years in the industry, I decided to further my education in order to teach others the skills I had acquired. The desire to train others prompted me to complete my M.Ed. and Ed.S. in Instructional Technology. I now have over fifteen years teaching experience at both the secondary and post-secondary levels. I am currently in my sixteenth year teaching Graphic Design at Valdosta High School, where I use technology on a daily basis for enhanced learner engagement.

I earned Google Educator Level 1 and Level 2 certification in 2019, and became a Google for Education Certified Trainer March 2020.
