Nancy Mahon serves as the first Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO). Under her leadership, ELC (Estée Lauder Companies) has reached significant milestones in reducing environmental impacts. Also, Nancy leads projects that are related to how investment in climate and ESG regulations can drive brand loyalty, market share, and pricing power.
Nancy will continue to focus on the implementation of ELC's sustainability, and ESG reporting across the organization.
In ELC's 2023 Social Impact and Sustainabilty Report, Nancy shared that ELC has reached the following goals: 71% of packaging is now recyclable, refillable, reusable, recycled, or recoverable/ carbon neutrality across our Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and sourced 100% renewable electricity globally for our direct operations.
