ESG-Environmental
AROMASE regards the wild woodland as the Earth's scalp, with forests being the Earth's hair. Starting from protecting the health of the scalp, she implements purification actions. By nurturing the forests, planting trees, and solidifying carbon, AROMASE aims to purify the Earth's environment. AROMASE commits to caring for the healthy growth of saplings, ensuring that each act of kindness is sustained perpetually.
In AROMASE's procurement strategy, we prioritize environmental assessment, social responsibility, fair trade, and indigenous peoples' rights (General Categories). For instance (followed by very concrete examples and explanations), when sourcing materials for our shampoo products, we've actively sought suppliers with a commitment to sustainable sourcing of raw materials. Our company is committed to sustainable development and we are in search of shampoo products that meet Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards. This includes using recycled bottles and ensuring that our suppliers adhere to fair labor practices.
Recycles empty bottles
The circular economy is a regenerative system, embodying the concept of sustainable development and zero waste, coexisting harmoniously with our environment and the resources we have. In this system, the production of each product is meticulously designed to be utilized in multiple cycles. For instance, AROMASE products start from bottles made of recycled materials and, after the consumer's use, are sent back to be remade into other usable goods, thus completing a beneficial cycle.

ESG-Social
Rooted in the concept of plant-based and herbal products and deeply ingrained with a love for the Earth, AROMASE, in 2020, proudly received the international B Corporation Certification (Best For The World). With over 2800 B Corporations worldwide, AROMASE stands out as one of the few in Taiwan, especially as the only hair care business, rightfully leading the industry.
Obtaining B Corporation Certification is not as easy as one might think. It requires scoring in aspects such as corporate governance, employee care, environmental friendliness, community care, and customer impact. Most importantly, a company must be founded with the principle of being 'Best for the World'. This aligns perfectly with AROMASE's philosophy, where benefiting users and society is the core value of the brand.
AROMASE aims to support vulnerable groups, but realizes that the caregivers of these groups need attention too. Over the years, AROMASE have reached out to orphanages in remote areas and collaborated with charitable organizations like Le Shan Nursing Home, Cancer Hope Foundation, and World Vision Taiwan.
Following the outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020, AROMASE didn't halt its efforts. Instead, we donated sanitation supplies and cleaning products to medical institutions and charitable organizations, including 1,705 bottles of 5α-Jieriel shampoo and shower gel 3 in 1, along with over two hundred heartfelt care cards, supporting medical staff as their best backup.
The 2020 B Corporation Certification is a testament to AROMASE's leadership in Taiwan's scalp care market. Looking ahead, AROMASE aim to focus on the global market with their philosophy of purifying the Earth and natural herbal care, spreading this energy to everyone. "I am not great, but I am committed to my dream," says Chen Chun Wei, whose seeds of dreams have already brought about beauty.
