Water management at MAKALOT:
For our water management, we have many policies to save the water. Our usage rate of water is higher in the factories abroad, such as factories in Indonesia, Vietnam, and Cambodia. For the companies abroad, the water we use is from the local water factory and local ground water.
水資源管理
本公司擁有許多管理水資源的政策。我們的海外工廠通常位於印度、越南、柬埔寨、菲律賓等。海外工廠的取水量比本土工廠多。在海外工廠，我們主要的取水點為當地自來水工廠以及當地地下水。

In order to reduce water usage in the factories abroad, we have some methods, such as checking on the leaking water, education on saving water, and rainwater recycling. For instance, our factory in the Philippines recycles rainwater as cleaning tool during the raining season.
為了減少各地工廠的取水量，我們擁有一些方法。例如，定期檢測漏水，對海外員工進行教育以及宣導節水觀念，於海外工廠建立雨水回收池。例如，菲律賓工廠會於雨季回收雨水。

Besides, our headquarter in Taipei used ISO 14046 water footprint to control the usage of water in 2022. We also focus on improve the reuse rate of water. From 2020 to 2022, our usage rate of water has dropped seven percents.
此外，我們位於台北的總部使用ISO 14046 水足跡來控制2022年的用水量。我們也注重於精進重複用水率。從2020到2022，我們的用水率已經降低了七個百分比。

Management of water pollution at MAKALOT:
As for the management of water pollution, all of our factories in different places have the sewage treatment equipment. We also refer to the standard of Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals to manage our wastewater. We apply the policy that ban the usage of chemical substitutes. We monitor the standard of wastewater equality to avoid the emission of wastewater. In 2022, we don’t have any incident that relates to the violation of the emission of wastewater.
廢汙水管理:
關於我們的廢水管理，我們於海外工廠設置了廢水處理場。我們也使用有害化學物質零排放組織的標準來管理廢水。我們採取了禁止使用化學品的措施。我們會監測廢水的品質來預防廢水排放。2022年，我們沒有任何違反廢水排放的事件發生。
