About Me
Hi Everyone, I am the Assistant Lead for Five Bridges Junior High, Tantallon Junior Elementary, Tantallon Senior Elementary, and St. Margaret’s Bay Elementary. I am a proud alumni of St. Margaret’s Bay Elementary and Five Bridges (although it was called Tantallon Jr. High when I was there many years ago.) I have a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Social Work, and a Masters in Social Work as well. I have experience as a Child and Youth Care Worker, and most recently was employed as a Clinical Social Worker with NS Health in the area of Mental Health and Addictions. Although I loved my work there, I have been drawn back to my true passion of working with children, youth, and families.
In my spare time I love to spend time with my daughter, partner, and our little tyrant of a cat. I love Nova Scotia and spend a lot of my time exploring our beautiful shoreline and beaches.
I can’t wait to become part of our school community again!

About Me
Hello! I am the Community Outreach Worker for Five Bridges Junior High, Tantallon Junior Elementary, Tantallon Senior Elementary & St. Margaret’s Bay Elementary. I am new to this position, and also semi-new to Halifax, as I moved here in January of 2020 from New Brunswick. My educational background consists of a Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Victoria, a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Thomas University, and an Early Childhood Education Certificate from New Brunswick Community College. I have worked in many different roles, but my favourite work and true passion involves working with children and their families!
In my spare time I can usually be found either reading, spending time with my husband and our dog, who is a goofy golden retriever, or exploring all the endless natural wonders that Nova Scotia has to offer.
I am looking forward to getting to know all of you!
