Jordan's Principle makes sure all First Nations children living in Canada can access the products, services and supports they need, when they need them. Funding can help with a wide range of health, social and educational needs, including the unique needs that First Nations Two-Spirit and LGBTQQIA children and youth and those with disabilities may have. FYi doctors has a program called Better Sights, Better Grades which provides children 13 years and younger, who may be having vision problems and who lack the means to afford proper care. A self-help mental health program from the Canadian Mental Health Association that helps you manage low-mood, depression, or anxiety and feel better at your own pace from the comfort of home. The Couch of Hope offers free therapy sessions to individuals who are aged 10 and up. Sessions are 50 minutes in duration, option for in-person, video or phone. To register either call/text 902-707-4414 or email intake@couchofhope.com.
