Welcome to Week 5! What did you do this weekend? I went for a walk in the the woods with Jenna and Bruno. We also found a robin's nest underneath the deck! The eggs are such a pretty colour of blue. I can't wait to write about it in Writer's Workshop.
Let's keep learning together!

Thursday: Math Question: There were 12 puddles, the sun dried up 7 of them. How many puddles are left? Can you write a number sentence for the question?
Friday:If there are 12 kids with rubber boots on, how many rubber boots are there all together? *Strategies you can use: draw a picture, skip count, doubles.
*Extra: Get on your rubber boots and splash around in some puddles!
I can ask questions to make sure I understand what is happening in the story.
After reading a page, stop and think:
"Do I know that is happening? Can I answer the questions like: Who is in the story? What is happening? Where and When is the story taking place? Why is this happening? What do I think will happen next?"
