These sample year plans are designed to show how you could plan for a year of structured literacy within the new Grade 6 curriculum or a year of structured literacy within the Grade 7 and 8 curriculum. Sample unit ideas are linked within the year plans. Each contains possible texts, videos, and cross-curricular connections, morphology instruction, sentence syntax instruction, and an end-of-unit writing task using POWER and TIDE.
