They typically only do a single session but will then make referrals to additional counselling supports that are longer term and more appropriate based on need.

Skipping Stone is a one of a kind, nationally recognized agency that connects trans and gender diverse youth, adults and families with the comprehensive and low barrier access to the support they need and deserve.

The Youth Health Centre is a safe and supportive place for youth ages 12-24 to get health and social care from a trustworthy and caring team of doctors, nurses and support workers.

We now offer free, same day counselling for youth ages 16-24
Same day counselling appointments are on a first-come-first-serve basis. If you can, please call ahead, but we will take walk-ins.
Same day counselling is for youth who need immediate mental health support.
If you need more than one session, we also offer longer-term counselling. Contact us to do a brief intake, and after that you can see a counsellor for up to 12 free sessions.

The Alex provides a now virtual, youth-led group for youth that identify as LGBTQ and their allies.
The group runs virtually every Monday (excluding holidays) from 6:30pm - 8pm
