Summer Jamboree- Flea Market

GIIS (East Coast Campus) participated in Summer Jamboree -Flea Market event organised by Telok Kurau East Coast Residents’ Network under Joo Chiat Division on 24 June 2023.

Our stall had themes of arts and sustainability. Handmade Greeting cards and variety of plants were also kept for sale at the stall.

Students got to experience their entrepreneurial skills and to also build relationships with residents in Joo Chiat Division.

Global Environmental Education Partnership Asia- Pacific Regional Center (GEEP APRC)

APRC held an International sustainability conference in Taiwan, “Environmental Management for Sustainable Cities”. The aims of APRC are to share environmental education ideas, encourage conversation, and promote education for sustainable development  (ESD) in Asia-Pacific countries. 

Students and teachers from EC campus were invited to participate in the conference. The presentation was delivered on topic: :Eco- surgeon@EC-The green and HAppy campus: on Sep 6, 2022.
