On the occasion of completing 75 years of India's independence, and being a part of events for celebrating Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM), High Commission of India, Singapore organized "VrikshMahotsav@75", planting of 50 trees at East Coast Park, Singapore on 22 October 2022. This is to support the One Million Tree movement initiated by the National Parks Board as Singapore aims to restore nature back through the planting of a million more trees across the city over the next 10 years.
Nine students and two teachers actively participated in this exercise which provided a great opportunity for students to have personal experience on tree sapling.
