Even though school looks different this year, many of the same routines and norms are in place. Just as you normally help your child wake up on time, get ready, and either catch the bus or drive to school, you will be helping your child get ready to login online for virtual school. Teachers and schools will be sending frequent communications. Your child will have daily or weekly assignments as well as need to review and study material. We value your support and together, this year will be a success!
While the start of this year may be different, our faculty and staff are excited to meet you. Until our schools reopen for students, classes will take place using Google Meet.
Below you will find the instructions for logging into Meet and accessing your classes. We highly suggest you review these documents so you know where to go the first day. Your child's teacher(s) will communicate their specific class Google Meet links on Back To School Night (August 19) as well as through email, Schoology, and SeeSaw.
Click here to see the Google Meet student directions for iPad, computer, and phone.
We will be using Seesaw (grades Preschool-3rd) and Schoology (grades 4-12) to deliver content to students. Any work that needs to be downloaded and completed during or outside of live instruction will be linked through these two platforms. Teachers will help your student learn how to access and download these materials. Instructions and tutorials will also be available on this site.
Students will also be uploading completed assignments using Seesaw (grades Preschool-3rd) and Schoology (grades 4-12). Teachers will help your student learn how to upload assignments. Instructions and tutorials will also be available on this site.
If for whatever reason, your child is not planning on joining any live instruction meetings OR your child misses live instruction meetings for any reason, please make sure your child's teacher(s) is aware. All students will download a document for asynchronous work. These documents will be available each Friday by end of business. Students who will not be able to connect frequently or at all to the live instruction meetings are required to access an Internet connection once weekly to download these documents from SeeSaw (PK-3) or Schoology (4-12). Students will also upload completed assignments through these platforms as well.
