What is The Be Me Project?
The Be Me Project is a UK‑registered charity that works in partnership with secondary schools and local communities to support young people who may be struggling with anxiety, low self‑esteem or emotional wellbeing challenges. The charity delivers structured wellbeing and confidence‑building courses designed to help young people better understand themselves, manage emotions, and develop resilience.
Who does Be Me support?
Be Me primarily supports young people experiencing:
Anxiety or stress Low confidence or self‑esteem
Emotional overwhelm
Difficulties coping with pressure at school or in life
Most students who are in years 7 - 9
How does Be Me support wellbeing?
Be Me’s approach aims to:
Build confidence and emotional resilience
Give young people tools to cope with stress and pressure
Help pupils feel understood, valued and positive about themselves
Support early intervention before difficulties escalate
A message for parents
Be Me courses are not therapy and do not replace clinical mental health services. They are designed to provide preventative and early wellbeing support, helping young people develop confidence and practical skills to manage everyday emotional challenges.
