Mr. Iddings

About

Meet Mr. Iddings,

He's married, with one son and four grandchildren. When he isn't teaching, he enjoys camping, reading, and - most of all - GOLF!

Being the son of a Navy Vet, Mr. Iddings spent half his childhood in Albion, IN and the other half in Georgia.  You can here it in the way he speaks when you have a conversation with him.  He is now married (40 years), and has two children and their wives, along with four grandchildren.

Have you ever been to a foreign country?   Mr. I has traveled to South Korea, Japan, Germany, Turkey, Italy, Portugal, along with Mexico and Canada.

During the 22 years he was in the military, Mr. I finished college with a degree in Chemistry and Sociology.  Once he retired in 2005, he went to Indiana Wesleyan University and earned his Master’s degree in Educational Administration.  Although his degree qualifies him to be a principal or VP, Mr. I enjoys his time in the classroom more.  He gets to interact with more people, and has the privilege of teaching what he is passionate about - SCIENCE!

What do you do in your spare time?  Mr. I enjoys painting, carpentry, and creating unique art out of wood (kind of combining the other two).  During the summer, Mr. I and his wife enjoy camping.  Admitting he is a little old for sleeping on the ground, they have a small RV they pull behind their SUV.
