Pick a Renaissance era or era of innovation and analyze its significance it had on the cultures and ethnicities it stemmed from.

Pick a Country

Students will pick a country to examine in complete detail. Students will define and complete the specifics of societal norms, innovations, foundations of the country, world status, economic system, government/political system, language, cultural traditions, holidays, major cities, ecosystems, major resources, alliances with other countries, etc. that may be important. Students are NOT ALLOWED to do the United States as this learning target.

Special Topics in History


Food and Drink

Cook a meal or snack and a drink that is from another culture. Please see Mr. Hammond prior to completing this. Evidence required: 4 - which includes at least two images of the food and its creation from the kitchen, a report and critique on the food that was made and the process of making it, and an explanation of why the food and drink is significant to the culture/ethnicity.
