My name if Jeff Houseman and I have been a teacher since the fall of 1997. I have worked for GPS schools since the fall of 2001 and I have taught AP Government since 2003. I have been married to my wife, Danielle, for over 20 years. She is currently the STEM teacher at ASU Preparatory Academy. I have two sons, Cooper and Maddux. Cooper is an engineering major at Central College in Iowa and Maddux is a junior in high school with a goal of becoming a software engineer.
AP Government is a rigorous class with a clear path to success. While the material is challenging, it is possible for students to do extremely well. There is a distinction to be made though. If you want to succeed on the AP Exam, you will need to do exceptional work. I will provide a clear road map of how to achieve success on the AP Exam, as well as success in the class itself.
