Meet Ms. Norris
I have been teaching art for 8 years, 4 of which have been at DRHS.I personally love painting, photography, and ceramics, but appreciate all art forms. The best part of teaching is facilitating artistic growth in my students. I have a BFA in Art Education and a BFA in Photography, both from ASU.
About AP 2D Art/AP Drawing
AP Art is a unique art course which is intended to support students through the AP Portfolio creation and submission process. Completion of periodic assignments, artist reviews, and reflections is required. Students will be expected to work independently a good deal of the time, however, they will also participate in peer critiques and one-on-ones with Ms. Norris to review portfolio milestones. Students will be encouraged to have a classroom community mindset as they assist each other and maintain standards of order and cleanliness in the classroom and storage areas.
