Math Activities

-Pick any object in your house and have your child count how many you have. Examples: Books, spoons, diapers, literally anything! Have them touch each object as they count it. At the end, ask how many there are all together. Some kids will be able to say “5” after counting, some will just count again. This is a skill we are working on and will develop with practice!

-Give your child a number and ask them to draw that many of something (circles, hearts, stars, smiley faces...)

-Have your child draw a picture of flowers (or anything you can think of) and ask them to tell you how many flowers they drew. See if they can write the number for you!
