Miss Steil

My name is Miss Steil and I am a 4th grade teacher. This year will be my 8th year at Gilbert and 11th overall. I went to UNI (go Panthers), but I also love supporting the Cyclones! I teach reading and language arts. I am in the 3-class switch with Mr. Riese and Mrs. Sanduka. I teach fiction reading and language arts. My favorite part about reading is the 30 Book Challenge. This challenge gives you the opportunity to explore new genres and series! My favorite part about writing is our quick writes and poetry unit. My students can help me by always coming to class ready to learn and exhibiting leadership skills. I will help my students by always being there to support them and encourage them to be their best.  My goals for this year are to try new things in the classroom and build a positive relationship with each of my students!
