I am very excited about this school year teaching 4th grade nonfiction reading, social studies & science! I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with Elementary and Middle Level degrees and found 4th grade to be the perfect fit for me.
As a lifelong learner, I enjoy all subjects and love learning new things from my students. I enjoy reading, writing poetry, traveling and solving puzzles. I strongly encourage a growth mindset in and out of the classroom! I love teaching social studies, non-fiction, and science because they help us explore the amazing stories of our past, understand the fascinating world around us, and uncover the secrets of how things work!
The best thing about teaching is helping students achieve their highest potential and watching them grow throughout the year.
