00 - Individuals in History
Objective:
You will be drafting an individual from any time period. Your goal is to find the best person to compete against other individuals in the class and history. Each day we will be competing against another individual on a specific topic. The person with the most overall points is the winner. Each day of competition you will match up against another individual on a specific category.
Scoring:
You will have 2 minutes to present your research on your individual each day of competition. You will go head-to-head with another individual, for a total of 4 minutes. I, the teacher, will give you a total of 5 points based on your presentation (for both individuals), while each individual in the class will get to vote for the better individual anonymously. The individual with the most points will get a win for that day, along with adding their total points from that day to their overall point total. If there is a tie at the end of the competition we will have an overall head-to-head match up between the top competitors.*
