How to turn on your ViewBoard with the PC.

Launch the Whiteboard software

It can be confusing accessing the whiteboard software on the ViewBoard. It has two versions of the same software. The PC version of the whiteboard software is much more powerful than the built in whiteboard software. Here is how you launch the whiteboard application from the PC.

This version of the whiteboard software is built in to the board. It is Android based and limited in memory, storage, and processor speed. We recomned you use the PC version.

USE THIS ONE!

You will find a whiteboard application on your PC desktop. This is the whiteboard software you want be using to unlock the full potential of your board.

Whiteboard software will not load

Sometimes the whiteboard software on the PC will not load. When this happens, you will see the whiteboard splash screen after double clicking the icon but then it goes away and the software never loads.

When this happens we need to remove the whiteboard software and reinstall it.

1) Open Add Remove programs and scroll down to "MyViewBoard Whiteboard". Click the app name then uninstall.

2) Go to myviewboard.com and download the WhiteBoard applicaion for PC.

3) Install the new application once it has finished downloading.

How to turn on your ViewBoard with the PC.

Turn on the ViewBoard first. Look for the power button in the lower right-hand corner. Press the power button.

When the power button turns blue the board is on and you can turn on the computer.
