Google Drive Setup
The Google Drive application allows access to files stored in Google Drive from Windows Explorer.
To install Google Drive go to: https://www.google.com/drive/download/
Download the softare and launch it once it is downloaded. Accept the defaults and finish the installation wizard. You will now have access to your google files within Windows Explorer (Ctrl + E).
If you are prompted for administrative access during the installation, email help desk to request access. Please include your computer name in the request. Pressing the Windows key and the Pause/Break key at the same time will show your computer name.
Google Workspace for Education Training and Certification
Google offers free training for Teachers. The training is excellent and give a great 30,000 foot view of the applications that make up the Google Workspace for Education and how the work together. You can earn a certification as a Google Certified Educator for $10.
To stop Chrome Browser Notifications
Open Chrome and paste
chrome://settings/content/notifications
into your browser
Make sure the Ask before sending button is toggled on:
