ITINERARY
Our path begins at the IES GERNIKA institute. From the institute we will go to the point called "Four Banks" (about 19 minutes and 1.7 km on foot) there we will make a short stop to explain why it is called that.
Then we will follow the route to the next point called "Lumo". (13 minutes and 1.3 km on foot).
After seeing Aixerrota, we will go to our third point, the "kosnoaga" mountain (we will talk about it in that place, 12 min, 1 km walk)
The descent will be through another point. We will go down to the "Zallo" neighborhood, the longest part of the route (we will talk about that place 53min 4.8km).
Finally, we will go to the institute to finish this route. (38min 3.4km)

POINTS OF INTEREST
On the climb from Gernika to Lumo, there is a suitable place to rest on the left side, formed by four benches, so this place, known as "FOUR BANKS" in Gernika, is very popular among young people and non-young people.
The Lumo church is the church that formed the municipality of Gernika-Lumo starting on January 8, 1882, together with Gernika.
It is made up of the districts of San Pedro (140 m), Arane (20 m) and Zallo. Although nature has been changing, economically they have been mostly farmers and ranchers.
MOUNT KOSNOAGA
Also called HAIZERROTA, in honor of the mill that crowned the summit, it is the closest peak to the town of Gernika. The peak, which has an ancient tradition in mountain competitions for centuries, appeared on the list of mountains of Bizkaia in (1930)
Starting from the municipality of Gernika-Lumo, it is one of the most popular neighborhoods in Gernika, Bizkaia. Also known as Lurgorri, it is located south of the urban center, on the Zornotza road.
