URDAIBAI BRIDGE
The Oka River is a river in Bizkaia. It is born at the foot of Mount Oiz, near Zugastieta in the Gorozika region, at the confluence of several streams that originate in Goroño, which is 601 meters high, Oiz, which is 1,035 meters high, Bizkargi, which is 563 meters high. height, and Arbur, which is 552 meters high. It runs in a south-north direction and after Gernika it becomes an estuary and forms the Urdaibai marsh. In Mundaka it reaches the sea. It has a total length of 17 kilometers.
In its 17 kilometers of length, the river passes through the following towns: Muxika, Gernika, Forua, Busturia, Murueta, Sukarrieta, Mundaka, Kortezubi, Gautegiz-Arteaga and Ibarrangelu.

URDAIBAI BIRD CENTER
Urdaibai Bird Center was born from an association called Elaia, which began its activity in Urdaibai in 2001. Initially, Elaia's activity consisted of putting rings on the different birds that gathered in the Urdaibai marshes, in order to control the birds that were present. The observatory is located in the Urdaibai biosphere, located in a protected natural area with one of the most important marshes on the coast of the Cantauri Sea. These marshes are part of the Ramsar Convention network, Natura 2000 and a special area for the protection of birds.
It was a demonstration of public life in the cities, and the main buildings that could be found there were: the basilica, the curia, the temples... Apart from all the civic and religious symbolism, the forum was used mainly for commerce. , with stores located in public buildings in structures called stools.
As the empire expanded, the forum also took on another meaning and became, in some cases, synonymous with the entire town or city. In these cases, the forum was a settlement created near an important road or highway, and the word Forum became a place name. In the Basque Country we have the place name of the town of Forua.
The Errotabarri mill located in the Kortezubi district was a tidal mill. This is mentioned in a list of bonfires from the 18th century. where Martín de Magota and Pedro de Lezerino are also mentioned as owners.
GERNIKA BHI or GERNIKA INSTITUTE is a center with a long history. In the 20th century it has known different uses and over the years it has been an essential study reference for the population of Busturialdeka and Lea-Artibai.
1896-1935: It was a religious school.
