Deutsch mit Socke is a series of short videos made specifically for young German language learners.
Start from the beginning with Wie heißt du? (What's your name?) and get to know the characters Esther and Socke or jump in at any point. Try these:
An und aus (On and off) - Socke and Esther play freeze dance!
Verstecken spielen (Hide and seek) - Socke and Esther play hide and seek!
Gefühle (Feelings) - Socke has trouble guessing what Esther is feeling.

Die Sendung mit dem Elefanten is geared toward a slightly younger audience, and has somewhat simpler language. It is a good place to start for German beginners, though children of many ages and experience with German will enjoy both Maus and Elefant!
Die Sendung mit der Maus features funny songs and cartoon bits (Lachgeschichten), along with non-fiction stories (Sachgeschichten), which explore a variety of topics (like how squirrels climb and jump). Some are investigations into how things are made (like bike helmets).

Sesame Street's local German version is Sesamstraße! It features many of the characters you might know from Sesame Street, along with new friends. Read more about it here.

Löwenzähnchen has shorter, more focused stories about Keks exploring nature and meeting other animals.
