Deutsch mit Socke is a series of short videos made specifically for young German language learners.
Start from the beginning with Wie heißt du? (What's your name?) and get to know the characters Esther and Socke or jump in at any point. Try these:
An und aus (On and off) - Socke and Esther play freeze dance!
Verstecken spielen (Hide and seek) - Socke and Esther play hide and seek!
Gefühle (Feelings) - Socke has trouble guessing what Esther is feeling.
Episode length: ~3 minutes
In Ich bin ich, kids present stories about their own experiences, like learning to ride a mountain bike, being an older sibling, going camping, and playing the violin. (Each picture links to the episode!)

Die Sendung mit der Maus and Die Sendung mit dem Elefanten are long-running children's shows that cover a variety of fun, educational topics.
Die Sendung mit dem Elefanten is geared toward a slightly younger audience, and has somewhat simpler language. It is a good place to start for German beginners, though children of many ages and experience with German will enjoy both Maus and Elefant!
Die Sendung mit der Maus features funny songs and cartoon bits (Lachgeschichten), along with non-fiction stories (Sachgeschichten), which explore a variety of topics (like how squirrels climb and jump). Some are investigations into how things are made (like bike helmets).

Episode length: ~25 minutes for full episodes, most parts of the episode are available on the website as their own video, like the 7-10 minute Sachgeschichten.
Sesame Street's local German version is Sesamstraße! It features many of the characters you might know from Sesame Street, along with new friends. Read more about it here.
New episodes are uploaded to this official Youtube channel, and there is also an extensive collection of past episodes.
Episode length: ~20 minutes for the whole episode, many shorter clips are also on the YouTube channel.
Pixi Wissen dives into specific scientific topics with the curious character Pixi. Check out episodes about dinosaurs or horses to start!

Löwenzahn and Löwenzähnchen tell stories about science, the environment, and life. They follow the host Felix (who is always working on his trailer/tiny house), his friend Yasemin, and his dog Keks.
Löwenzähnchen has shorter, more focused stories about Keks exploring nature and meeting other animals.
Episode length: ~25 minutes for Löwenzahn, 8 minutes for Löwenzähnschen
The three Checker (Can, Tobi, and Julian) answer questions about the world that kids might have.
A current feature is a series of shorts about the science of COVID-19 as well as ideas for kids dealing with staying at home and other current challenges.
Episode length: ~25 episodes as well as shorter videos about specific questions
In Viren-Check, Tobi checks out what a virus is and talks about COVID safety measures.
In the Wilde Welt series, hosts Pia, Paula, and Anna help the viewer learn about both wild and domestic animals.
