What is in this section?

Especially for the youngest viewers, much of children's television is designed to teach language. Many of the series on the following pages are those that German children watch. These shows immerse the viewer in the language and also explore social skills, scientific discovery, and the experiences of other people.

Explore video series and TV shows by grade level. Please note that these grade-level divisions are approximate. Many adults still enjoy Löwenzahn or Sendung mit der Maus as well!
