This page features things to listen to - podcasts, audio stories, and some streaming radio. Podcasts and other audio are a great way to listen to news and stories in German, even if it's in the background while playing.
Options for the youngest students are at the top, and the content becomes longer and/or more complex as you scroll down.

There are podcasts from the Maus team! This includes fictional stories, music, and non-fiction reports, told for kids.
Any of the options on this "Zum Hören" (to listen to) page would be suitable listening for grades K-2 and some would also be interesting for older students.
Ohrenbär is a daily podcast with fictional stories. Many stories have several parts, released over several days; the parts are labelled 1/3, 2/3, 3/3, etc. The stories are advertised as bedtime stories, but could be listened to at any time of day.

Ohrka (Ohr = ear) is a source for audiobooks and other audio programming. It was created by parents who work in media as a non-profit platform for quality children's media
On the start page, select 5+ (also labelled "Abenteuerlich lustig") or 8+ ("Tierisch spannend") to go to pages with offerings for those age ranges. The images here are also direct links.
Under "Hören", you can also click on "Märchen für alle" to find a large collection of classic fairy tales read aloud.
"Reportage und Podcast" has various short non-fiction offerings like "Where do noodles come from?"

A few examples are featured here. The topics and target audience vary. Students in grades 2-6 are likely to find something appropriate and of interest here.
Hexe Lilli tells the stories of the adventures of the young witch Lilli.
SpacePods features science fiction stories that students have developed in workshops. Some are scifi variations of old fairy tales.

There are news, science, and fictional podcasts for different ages.
RadioMikro has new half-hour episodes each weekday, and answers scientific questions about everyday life. 1st grade and up.
On Klaro, 4th grade classes from Bavaria create radio news segments. Each episode includes an introduction of where the class is from. 3rd grade and up.
Mikado presents more radio and podcasts for children and youth from a public broadcaster.
These are mostly longer episodes, and could be a good fit for about grades 3 and up.
Mikado am Morgen has new 50-minute episodes every Sunday. There is a topic of the week from current events, history, the time of year, and monthly book tips.
Hörspiele from Mikado are also 50-minute episodes. They mostly cover topics from literature, history, and culture.
Radiofüchse has short podcasts and blog posts made by kids and for kids about current social topics.
Probably best for grades 3-6.
