Abzeichen
Nordic Ski Team members are encouraged, but not required, to pursue the TCGIS Nordic Skiing Award (Abzeichen) and receive a Nordic ski pin for their stoles. See the Abzeichen eligibility requirements.

Langlaufkarte
Skiers receive a Langlaufkarte (a laminated punch card) to track the number of team practices and races they attend. At the end of each practice or race, coaches will punch the cards. Skiers need at least one hole punch for Ski Camp, 10 hole punches for practices and three hole punches for races to be eligible for an Abzeichen in Nordic skiing (exceptions are made for injuries or other circumstances that are discussed with the coach).
