This Portfolio takes a look into the relation between the mass media channels and the main political parties of Pakistan, the political parties in question are Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). The portfolio looks into the rivalry between these two political parties and the history they hold together and then the timeline across which you can notice the shift in opinions of the two major news channels: GEO TV and ARY TV. We will then be able to look into how both these channels have supported PML-N and PTI through political campaigns and tried to take the other down and display very biased narratives. Overall, this portfolio will shed light on the lack of free media and how these biased media channels are able to control the public opinion.
