The GBEL Program culminates in a business project that participants will implement within their organizations. The project will be presented during the final week of the program in Washington, DC in the form of a 5-minute presentation.
The project presentation should seek to answer the following questions:
WHAT is that problem that this project seeks to address?
WHY is it important? (justification)
WHO is the project for, and WHO can help you implement it? (stakeholders)
HOW can the project be implemented? (suggested action plan)
WHEN and WHERE will the project be completed? (timeline)
WHAT is your expected outcome/ what’s the benefit for the company?
You may want to consider using some of the following frameworks when developing your project presentation:
SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats)
PESTLE (political, economic, social, technological, legal and environmental)
Scenario planning
Porter's Five Forces framework (competition in the industry, potential of new entrants into the industry, power of suppliers, power of customers, threat of substitute products)
