Money: We recommend setting aside $500-1,000 USD to cover incidental expenses and meals. Please note that your program registration payment covers the cost of your housing, tuition, academic materials, site visits, insurance, and transportation.
Vaccines: No vaccines are required to enter Panama or the U.S., but it is recommended to be vaccinated against yellow fever before visiting Panama.

Bring a multi-voltage travel adapter for any electronics (U.S. voltage is 110-120 volts).
Before you depart for the U.S., you may want to exchange your currency to US dollars (USD) to purchase any basic expenses when you first land. We suggest you bring $100-200 USD in cash with you. You can also wait to arrive in the United States and use an automatic teller machine (ATM) or exchange money at the airport.
