Henry Kardonski is the Managing Director for London & Regional Panama, the master developer of the Panama Pacifico Special Economic Area and master planned community.
As Managing Director, he formulated the 40-year master plan, and now manages oversight and implementation of the entire Panama Pacifico development, as part of the public-private partnership with the Government of Panama. Since the project broke ground in 2008, new development totals more than $235 million, and more than 130 companies have opened their doors in Panama Pacifico, taking advantage of the strategic location adjacent to the Panama Canal and the Pacifico ports as well as numerous Special Economic Area benefits available to a number of key industries, including maritime and logistics.
Henry Kardonski has diverse management and board experience, having been Director for financial institutions in Panama, Ecuador, and Peru; Chief Financial Officer of Key Biscayne Bank and Trust Co. in Florida (1993-1995); General Manager for the Japanese electronics conglomerate Sanyo in Mexico City (1991-92); and consultant for Kalf GMBH, a German Health care company (1990).
Mr. Kardonski graduated from Columbia Business School in New York, USA in 1991, with a Masters of Business Administration. He completed his undergraduate work at Brandeis University in Waltham, MA USA in 1986 with a BA in Economics and Political Science. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Panama.
