A discursive essay on children’s language development, with a choice of two questions where the data provided will focus on spoken, written or multimodal language (30 marks)
Text A for this task is longer than you would get in the real exam, but good for practising your analysis
Q1: Analyse how Text A uses language to create meanings and representations. (25 marks)
Q2: Analyse how Text B uses language to create meanings and representations. (25 marks)
Q3: Explore the similarities and differences in the ways that Text A and Text B use language. (20 marks)
