Important Update on School Meals for 2023-2024

Attention Parents:  The USDA will no longer be providing free school meals next school year.  We are so thankful for the time the meals were free and thrilled with how many students are eating meals with us.  We hope this continues and look forward to continuing to serve your student.  All students will have to fill out the 2023-2024 free and reduced lunch form online after July 1st to apply for free or reduced meals for next year. This form can be filled out and submitted completely online.  Students who filled out a form for the current year will carry over for the first 30 days of school, however, a new form must be filled out.

We are trying to give Parents advance notice to plan, that way if you do not qualify for reduced or free meals, you can be prepared and aware that you will have to pay full price next year.

Healthy Breakfast is offered everyday at all schools!  We encourage students to start the day off right by eating with us in the cafeteria.

Applications for free and reduced price meals are available online and in the school offices.  These may be filled out at any time during the school year.  An approved form is required annually to be eligible for fee waivers.

Healthy Ala Carte options that meet the Smart Snack rules are available at all schools.

Parents are encouraged to prepay for meal accounts.  We offer online payments thru PaySchools Central  This tab can be found on the bottom left of this page.  Account payment methods including the Auto Replenishment option can be found here.

Genoa Schools Wellness Committee - Established in 2006 as a state mandate, the district wellness committee has been influential in creating new changes in our overall school wellness.  Parents, staff, students, and community members are encouraged to participate on the Wellness Committee.  If you would like to be part of the committee please contact Mr. Ferguson at the above address.  The Committee meets annually however stays active year around.
