I have been using it for a week, before doing this write up about the Insta360 GO 2.
There is one important thing you should take note when using the Insta360 GO 2, when charging it does not accept all USB C - USB C cable. It is selective and I do not understand by.
It prefers you to use the Charging cable which is an USB C - USB A cable.
Also if you want to transfer file or image from the Charging Case using USB C, you MUST USE THE CABLE that comes with it. USB C - USB C cable will not work.
Another important note is using USB C - USB A, you need to use an adapter to convert the USB A to USB C if your computer only have USB C.
I use USB-C to USB-C cable and connect to my windows laptop and it did not work, But with an ordinary USB-C adapter connected to the charging cable, I did not have any problem with it on my Dell XPS 13 2020 version.
But on my MacBook Air M1, it is not working, I tried using Apple USB C Digital AV Multiport Adapter, USB-C to USB adapter and it is not working.
So connecting it was a challenge, although the Charging case will show USB Mode, the MacBook Air M1 does not recognized it.
I was able to have it working and computer recognized it as an external drive using Baseus, multiple port USB C adapter.
