Google Sites is a fantastic container for the content in your classroom. Google Sites can be used in conjunction with Google Classroom as a static place to deliver all your content while Classroom is a dynamic arena to interact, collect, and collaborate with students. Unlike Classroom, you don't have to create a new one each year; your students do not need to be enrolled, they are simply visitors.
It is a great way to stay organized and house any materials you need to teach each day and each unit. In fact, this technology training was delivered using a Google Site!
Another great way to utilize Google Sites is to have students build a digital portfolio using Google Sites. It is an amazing way to track student learning in a portfolio that can follow them through their school career.
