Purpose: This course is designed to support classroom teachers in the successful integration of Google Apps for Education in the classroom. Upon completion of the course, participants will have a clear understanding of how to utilize Google Apps for Education including Chrome, Classroom, Drive, Docs, Slides, Forms, Calendar, and Sites.
Objectives: All objectives are correlated to the National Educational Technology Standards and Performance Indicators for Teachers. www.iste.org
Participants will demonstrate the ability to use Google Classroom as an online learning tool to create and respond to posts and submit course assignments (ISTE 2, 3, 4)
Participants will demonstrate the ability to use Google Drive to create and edit documents, conference digitally with peers and students, and plan for how to use it with students to support the curriculum (ISTE 1, 2, 3, 4, 5)
Participants will demonstrate the ability to use Google Slides to create and edit presentations using Google Chromebooks and plan for how to use it with students to support the curriculum (ISTE 1, 2, 3, 4, 5)
Participants will demonstrate the ability to create and edit Google Sites to deliver content to students.
