the idea for an upcycled garment came to me when my professor mentioned how the world of fashion is moving towards a more sustainable world. one day I had gone out and found a pair of overalls that were made out of a overdyed denim and I choose to buy them to try to give them a new life. a bodice is the simplest version of a drape, it is the basic for most articles of clothing and can be turned into many pieces. the basic bodice is made of front and back pieces that form together to create a form that fits around the body.  (for more information see the process of the skirt and bodices ) 

a simple skirt is also a basic fundamental skill that is very handy to know how to make when creating garments. this skirt is quite special because it is made by only using 2 pieces of muslin. (for more information see the process of the skirt and bodices )
